Another month of active developments has come to an end. Here are the developments that happened on the blockchain in December 2024 👇

▶️ The Beta version of DMDv4 was made available for public testing a month ago, with supportive guides on maximizing Open Beta experiences. The level of participation in the Open Beta testing amazes us-thanks to all community members who prioritize test-running the use cases on top of DMDv4. With these community efforts, the beta network has also continued to scale up to accommodate more testers for meaningful network improvements and stability prior to the main net release.

DMDv4 Open Beta is an environment that allows you to have a close-to-real network experience of the ecosystem’s industry features. ▶️ Based on Open Beta testing feedback from community members, we released a newer version (1.1) of Diamond-UI ( https://beta-ui.bit.diamonds/) — which remains the central point of interaction between our users and the DMD diamond ecosystem. Its interface is user-friendly and more robust with newer updates. There’s an FAQ section ( https://beta-ui.bit.diamonds/faqs) on the Diamond-UI website’s footer page. ▶️ DMD Diamond coins got listed on Xeggex — as a last pre-mainnet exchange. It also comes with the full support of the DMDv3 to DMDv4 switch process, just like Bitmart and P2PB2B. ▶️ We have worked on the feedback of the DAO audit and are looking forward to the first feedback from the core contract audit. We are now focusing on network optimizations in epoch switch stability to reduce unnecessary node score loss and ensure the scoring system fulfills its role by making a clear, visible difference between stable maintained and unstable validator candidates. Indeed, we are progressive towards the mainnet launch, and hopefully, 2025 will arguably be a year for the DMD Diamond blockchain!

▶️ We are in talks with the Pantos team about possible support of the DMD Diamond blockchain with the Pantos protocol. This would open up all multichain possibilities and elevate the DMD Diamond ecosystem to a player in the upcoming multichain Pantos universe, where we would be rightly positioned as a visible gem with our blockchain’s unique, industry-first abilities.
